The hotel itself holds up its half: Polynesian-deluxe theming done with Loews polish (the orchid-court lobby, torch-lit walkways, the bamboo-and-teak register), the lagoon-style pool with white-sand beach, interactive water zone and the tower-view cabanas, Jake's American Bar and the Islands Dining Room's character breakfasts, Emeril's Tchoup Chop legacy space's successors, and the Wantilan Luau — Orlando's longest-running weekly luau (Saturday's pig roast, fire dancers, and mai tais at genuine quality).
